We invite climbers of all ages, abilities, and experience levels to join us for an afternoon of bouldering at our 3rd Annual Gravity Check Competition! Whether it's your very first 1st competition, or your 50th, you'll have a blast!
Date: December 10th / 2-5pm Finals 6pm
Cost: $55 for TPG members / $65 for non-members
(member rate also available to Urbana Boulders & First Ascent Peoria members)
Divisions:
Recreational - V0-V1
Intermediate - V2-V3
Advanced - V4-V5
Open - V6+
Choose the division that contains the hardest route you can send in a single session. We WILL bump people up if their score is a significant outlier in their registered division!
What to Expect:

In the week leading up to the competition, our talented setting team will put up a wide range of routes designed to challenge climbers of ALL ability levels. They will be tagged in rough order of difficulty, and

Once the competition starts, you'll be set loose in the gym for 3 hours, with a goal of climbing the 5 most difficult routes you can muster.

While the event is competitive, the atmosphere is all about supporting one another and having a good time. The event aims to foster a sense of belonging in the bouldering community. You'll meet new people, make new friends, and strengthen the bonds that make climbing in our community so special.

Prizes will be awarded to the top performers in each division, and every participant will be entered in a raffle, so everyone can potentially walk away with some cool swag!
